*** As of June 2009 we are unable to accept computer donations for a tax credit due to a change in policy at our primary charitable organization, The Hands of Love Mission. Currently we are looking for a new charity which will accept computer equipment and until one is found we will be accepting functioning computer equipment for recycling only.
The PC/MD is a Registered Microsoft Refurbisher. We are beginning to offer refurbished, older systems available for sale (ask at the counter). These have been reloaded and/or re-licensed under the Microsoft guide lines. These systems will have a 30-60 Day warranty, depending on the unit, as offered.

Donate Your Old Computer Equipment!
Don't throw out that old computer, monitor or printer, (donate in to the Hands of Love Mission [Not at this time]) through The PC/MD! We do not like to see used computer equipment end up in a landfill because there are less fortunate people out there that can make use of such items. At The PC/MD we work closely with The Hands of Love Mission [Not at this time] in order to collect, repair and distribute used computer systems and components to financially challanged families in both West Virginia and Central America.
Your Part
All you have to do is bring your old computer equipment into our Monrovia store. We will quickly evaluate its value and give you a donation receipt [Not at this time] which you can deduct from your taxes. Only running computers, complete with their original software are eligible for a donation receipt. Non-functional systems can still be donated but are not eligible for a receipt. We will take care of removing all personal information from your computer before it is passed along to the charity.
